Shared Sound ¨ Shared Experience
I offer group sound sessions on Bornholm - indoors and outdoors. These gatherings create a simple, yet profound and attentive space to arrive, listen, and share an experience through sound, voice and quiet presence.
In the powerful space of a shared group field, we come together in sound - through listening, breathing, humming, singing, moving, sharing. Sessions unfold from what is present in the group, often creating a quiet sense of connection that unfolds naturally and without effort. I guide with clarity, care and respect for individual boundaries, while allowing space for ease, warmth and joy within the group.
No prior experience is required. Yet, openness, curiousity and a clear intention make your experience more powerful. As sound can touch deep layers of our being, including stored trauma and emotions, these may find their way to the surface during a session. Experiences may therefore be not always comfortable. I hold a clear and safe container for you to meet what wants to be seen and felt. Resistance, discomfort and emotions are allowed to be met with presence, both individually and in the group, free from judgement or the need to fix. I encourage transformation from neutral witnessing, compassion and self-responsibility. Together, we anchor in the still point between beauty and heaviness, joy and confusion, ease and discomfort.
What to expect
Sessions follow a flexible, yet clear and spacious structure. Each gathering combines active participation and receptive listening that allows the body and its dimension to open and soften before anchoring into deep recalibration and integration.
A session typically includes:
A gentle arrival and settling phase
Feeling safe and at ease in the room and yourself prepares the ground for the work to come.Guided meditation and space opening
We anchor and ground our being multidimensionally and set up the energetic structure for the session.Simple bodywork and movement
Movement supports us in releasing tension, reconnecting with our physical center and becoming more receptive to the sound experience. Dance, free movement or elements from yoga help the nervous system soften and open.Working with voice and breath
Breath and voice work let us sink deeper into our body. Our voice is the most powerful instrument we carry. Together, we explore humming, toning, simple vocal expressions or singing as a way of opening our own vibration from the inside.A sound bath to wrap up and anchor
We settle into stillness while instruments and voice create a spacious sonic landscape. With the gong as the main element, a rich spectrum of frequencies and overtones invit the mind to fall quiet, the body to relax and emotional tension to unwind.Shared closing of the space
We close with a few minutes of silence, grounding or compassionate sharing to support integration of the experience.
Every session is different and experiences may vary. Some sessions are subtle and quiet while others are more expressive. Every participant has their own perception and natural response. Focussing on creating conditions where things can unfold safely and organically, we stay free from goals and achievements, simply being present, curios and open to the experience that unfolds. Sessions are usually held in English, but I speak fluently Danish and German as well.
Sessions are held indoors in a calm, protected space, or outdoors in nature when the season allows. Sound, landscape, elements and shared attention become part of the experience. Group events can be created for different contexts, such as retreats, team days or special occasions. These sessions may include guided walks in nature or cooperations with other facilitators - get in touch to talk about ideas and possibilities. I love to experiment with formats and activities and with including Bornholms “power places” into the work.
