How can this work support you?
Integral Sound Therapy uses sound and vibration to support your nervous system and your natural ability to regulate and restore itself. You don’t need prior experience, special skills or a certain mindset. You simply listen, preferably with an open mind and a clear intention - and your system responds. From here it may ask you to make certain changes to work further with root causes and to create long lasting effects. Sound is powerful. Yet, it is no quick fix. All transformation comes from within yourself.
Multidimensional experiences
Sound works on several levels at the same time, reaching the body through frequency and vibration on physical, mental, emotional and experiential levels. Together, they can support overall well-being and vitality, deeper rest and sleep, healthy inner rhythms, mental clarity and a deeper connection to yourself. Below is an overview of what can move in the distinctive layers during and after a session.
-
Many clients experience:
A calming of the nervous system
The body often shifts from stress mode (fight/flight) into rest mode. This can show up as slower breathing, a steadier heart rate and a feeling of safety or grounding.Changes in muscle tone
Tight or overactive muscles may soften. Some people notice less jaw tension, relaxed shoulders, or a sense of heaviness and support in the body.Better body awareness
Sound can make it easier to feel what’s going on inside — without forcing or analyzing. This can help reconnect to signals like tiredness, ease, or comfort.Deep rest
Even if you don’t fall asleep, the body often enters a state similar to deep rest, which many people find more refreshing than sleep alone.
-
Sound patterns and steady tones can influence brain activity in a gentle way.
Common effects include:
Slower brain waves
Many people shift from fast, busy thinking into slower, calmer states associated with relaxation, creativity and insight.Reduced mental noise
Thoughts don’t stop necessarily, but they often become quieter or less gripping.Improved focus and clarity
After a session, people often feel clearer, more organized, or better able to concentrate.A break from constant doing
There’s nothing to achieve. Listening gives the mind permission to rest.
-
Sound offers a non-verbal way to work with emotions.
This can look like:
Gentle emotional release (without having to talk or explain)
More emotional balance
Feelings may feel less overwhelming or easier to hold.A sense of inner space
Emotions can be felt without being pushed away or intensified.Feeling more at ease with yourself
Many people describe a quiet acceptance or self-kindness emerging naturally.
-
Some clients experience a deep sense of wholeness and connection, which is often referred to as “coming back to oneself”.
This might include:
Feeling more present and embodied
A sense of inner alignment or coherence
Feeling connected: to yourself, to life, or simply to the moment
This does not require spiritual beliefs. For some, it’s a deeply relaxing experience; for others, it opens space for reflection or deeper self-understanding.
Integral Sound Therapy is for anyone who wants to feel more present, regulated and connected - without having to explain themselves or believe in anything. You do not need to be “stressed enough”, “open enough” or “experienced enough.” The work naturally adapts to your nervous system, your pace and your capacity. Relaxation responses through Integral Sound Therapy counters many symptoms of chronic stress, including heart, endocrine and digestive disorders as well as insmonia, low energy levels, depression and PTSD (Post Traumatic Stress Disorder).
You may benefit from this work if you:
live with ongoing stress, pressure or responsibility.
feel tired, overwhelmed or disconnected from your body.
carry a lot in your head and are looking for a non-verbal way to reset.
are navigating change, transition or uncertainty.
want to slow down and reconnect with your own natural rhythm.
are curious about sound as a tool for awareness and regulation.
seek depth and meaning, without spiritual language or belief systems.
People I work with include:

Who carry a lot of responsibility and rarely get real rest - and want time to reset without effort.Managers, leaders and professionals
Who operate under constant pressure and decision-making and profit from a way to slow down and regain clarity.People with busy minds
Who find it hard to relax, meditate or “switch off”.People under stress, in transition or in recovery phases
Burnout, life changes or emotional overload can benefit from gentle nervous system support.Creatives
Who look for a deeper connection to their inherent ressources, inspiration and life force energy.Spiritually curious or experienced people
Who are looking for relaxation, grounded body-presence, integration or a deeper sense of self - without belief systems or dogma.Anyone who simply wants to rest and listen
To themselves and to life, without talking, fixing or performing.
This is for you…
This is not for you…
Integral Sound Therapy is gentle, but it’s also specific. It is supportive for many people, but not the right fit for everyone.
This work may not be the best choice if you:
Are looking for a quick fix or instant transformation
Sound therapy supports regulation and awareness. Its effects can be subtle and cumulative rather than dramatic or immediate.Prefer highly structured, goal-oriented approaches
Sessions are not about analysis, coaching or step-by-step solutions.Feel uncomfortable with stillness or listening
The work has receptive elements. If you need constant interaction or stimulation, it may feel unfamiliar at first.Prefer a passive “lying down while something happens to you” format
While receiving is part of the work, all transformation arises from within and requires reflection and self-responsibility.Are looking for entertainment, performance or a purely aesthetic sound experience
Sound can come in many ways and may challenge what we use to perceive as “harmonic” or “beautiful”.Expect clear answers or explanations during the session
This is not a talking therapy. Insights may arise, but they are personal and not interpreted or directed. Are currently in an acute psychological crisis
In those cases, more direct medical or therapeutic support is important. Sound work can be supportive later, but it is not a replacement for therapy or clinical treatment. I do not diagnose or treat mental health conditions. Are strongly skeptical of any body-based or experiential work
Curiosity and openness help this work unfold naturally.
This work is best suited for people who are willing to slow down, listen and allow their experience to unfold without forcing it. If you’re unsure whether this approach fits you, that uncertainty is often a good place to start. We can explore together whether this approach supports where you are right now.
